Mother's Day Preschool & Kindergarten Programs

For Mother's Day John's preschool had a special mother's day program. The kids sang for us, then gave us strawberry short cake with a special picture and necklace. It was so great. It was also really fun to get to have John all to myself for a while. He really is a sensitive kid when it come to me! I just love him.
Kelton's Kindergarten class had Mom's and Muffins. They to sang to us, gave us muffins and chocolate milk, and Kelton had made me a special book of all the things that he had learned throughout the year. Kelton was so proud of all the things that he has learned this year. My heart feels a little pull each time I realize he is needing me less and less--even though I'm sure he will always want his mom.

I just Love being a MOM!

Disney Vacation

About a week ago we took all the kidos to Disneyland for Kelton's birthday. We had so much fun. First we stopped in St. George for a gymnastics meet and to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Gardner. We played in the stream, went to the city center, fed the ducks and had a blast with grandma and grandpa.

Then it was off to Disneyland. We drove and it really wasn't that bad. Grandma Chatfield and Libbey came with us. We checked out Disney Town the night before and went swimming in the pool.

Then the next morning it was to Disneyland before anyone else could beat us there. We used RidaMax to help us get in as many rides as possible. It wasn't that busy, and we had Libbey and Grandma help with fast passes, so we got everything in.

Kelton even got to be a part of the Jedi Training and fought DarthVader (Awesome!!)

He is now a padwon:)

John getting ready for the Pirate Boat Ride--His favorite was the Pirate's of the Caribbean Ride!

Lunch was Fantastics!
Libbey bought Kelton the light saber for his birthday and grandma bought the kids the animal pillows-Both were the perfect gift and ending to a GREAT day!
We left Disneyland at 6PM. Grandma Chatfield and Libbey drove to Vegas so they could get home, but we went onto San Diego. We spent 3 days sitting at the pool,
(it had an awesome slide!)

the beach,

and enjoying La Jolla. (the birds & squirrels were awesome)

Then it was home again. We had so much fun!! Hope you all get a chance to do something like this with your kids.
