Lost and Hopefully Found Soon

Aaaaarrrhhhh! I hate loosing things. It ruins my whole day. I don't loose things often but, today I have lost my keys. I swear I saw them this morning on the table by the phone where I put them every single day. But when I went to drive Johnny to school and run some errands they are no where to be found. So I have been looking, under the couch, in the couch, cleaning out cupboards, drawers, stacks of paper, kids rooms, in the car, in yesterdays pants, the laundry room, in my purse, Kelton's backpack, John's backpack, Keith's bed, my bathroom, I even called Trey and had him look in his car, basically EVERYWHERE!!! Still, No Keys. The only thing I can think of is that Keith has flushed them down the toilet--aarrrh. Probably not, but at least I would know were they are. Wish me luck, before I go insane looking for them.........

Spring Time Fun

Lately we have been playing with my sister Lisa. We have done just about everything. We had a birthday party, went on an 8 mile run, got our toe nails painted, got our hair done, went out to lunch, and did a little work. (oh, and she went to a funeral with my parents and met Pres. Monson and Pres. Uchtdorf. Both Leaders in our Church--Check here if you want more info The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)

Well, last night we helped my dad with some stuff and then he drove me, Brin, Keith, Kelton, John, and T-man back to the house in the bucket of the back hoe. It was so fun and reminded me of when my grandpa Devey would take us for rides. Then we went to Lindsey's house for a hot dog roast.

Us in the bucket of the back hoe--T-man and Grandpa are driving:)
Johnny trying to get his hot dog roasted without getting close to the fire--Mom said "Don't get to close or you could get burned!" He is so far away from the fire that We couldn't even get him and the fire in the same picture.--hehehe
Casey showing Johnny how to roast the hot dog without roasting yourself. Thanks Casey.

Yard! Yard! Yard!

The first year we moved in I was so excited to get the grass in our front yard. The second year we lived here I was very excited to get grass in our back yard. The third year we lived here the excitement was still there because we got to plant our trees and shrubs. So what you ask are we doing for our fourth year in this house? We are maintaining everything that we have already done and giving a garden a try. Hopefully, I will have some good pictures later in the summer, for now picture brown dirt mixed with fertilizer, a few rocks and little boy foot prints all over. Wish us luck!

Spring Break!

Growing up I remember my mom always counting down until spring break. She would have activities planned each day or we would go on vacation (sometimes without dad because he would have to work). But she always made it a special time. And when it was time for all us kids to go back to school she seemed more upset or depressed about it than we did. Well, I know how she feels now that I'm the mom and my kids are leaving me to go back to school--I'm sending my sympathy mom:)

So here's what we did over spring break. I don't have any pics because, I of course, forgot my camera. (hopefully in the right order, but probably not)
Monday we woke up really early (7:15AM) hooked up with my grandma, Jo, and Boo. My mom jumped in the van and drove around with the kids getting breakfast and following us on our 3 mile run. Kelton got out at one point and ran with us for a while. He is so cute. Then the boys headed into Jo's house to wake-up her crew and get the party started!! After playing for a while we went to grandma's to clean the Gym that we had completely trashed on Sunday. Then Grandma and the Lawrences came with us to Costco (sample heaven) and then to get a table I had bought a few weeks ago--needless to say I missed the phone call that the table wasn't in because of a dead phone battery.
Tuesday after cleaning out the garage we met everyone at Adventure and Learning Park. Fed the ducks, ate pizza with Grandma Lorna, and played on the jungle gym! Love that place-Next time we are bringing our fishing poles!
Wednesday we cleaned the house, picked-up the table (which finally got in), played the Wii until we had "video brain" and then hung outside.
Thursday we ran to Boo to get the boys hair cut before we got their pictures taken. After the pictures, we grabbed Lacie and her kidos to help move Kelton & John into their new room, move Keith into their old room, and set up a guest room. I never could have gotten it all done without Lacie--You are amazing!! These a few of the pics. (Thanks Hannah I Love them and we had fun playing in your yard while you took these.)
John had the hardest time understanding that he was getting his picture taken.

Friday I can't remember what we did, but I think it had something to do with Mario Brothers and PB & J sandwiches.
I miss my boys! I can't wait till our next vacation so we can spend all day together again. So here's to days together, nights slept soundly, and time with family.

Happy Easter

I love Easter time. It is a symbol of a new beginning or new life. The grass is green, the buds are showing on the trees and we get to be outside. I especially LOVED conference (where the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints give direction and counsel to all the members). We had a busy weekend. We listened to conference on Saturday, had an Easter Egg hunt at grandmas, and had all the grandkids over for a movie that night, oh and we put the chairs to my NEW table together.:) On Sunday we found that the Easter Bunny had come and brought with him treats, we listened to conference, had a great dinner together and headed to grandparents to visit.
The start of the Easter Egg Hunt

Rolling the Easter Eggs. It is really cool for those of you who have never done this. You roll your egg as far as you can and when your egg breaks (explodes if you roll it fast) is how far your roll goes. Who ever is the furthest they are the winner.
Egg relay race with the adults--The girls had to carry the eggs on a plastics egg to the boys who had to grab the egg by their neck and run across the gym without dropping it. Trey and I are NOT great at this we lost. Better luck next time:}
These are the rolls that I made for Easter Dinner. Not bad for one of my first tries. They went along with a roast, potatoes, gravy, carrots and beans.
Happy Easter Everyone!
