Our weekend in St. George

Trey and I decided it would be fun to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Gardner in St. George for the weekend, and boy were we RIGHT! We had so much fun. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for such a great time. We got to go shooting:
Grandpa, John Grandma and Kelton after setting up the targets, but before we shot them all!
My Hot hubbie, squinting because of the sun and wind.
Just before leaving the shooting range
Beefy fell asleep on our way to the shooting range and didn't wake up til we got home:)
Enjoying the company while Trey and I were shooting with the boys. Don't be fooled, both of these guys are great shooters and personally, I was impressed.

Our family on a hike behind grandma and grandpa's house
Beefy would say, "Scewd. (SCARED)" Then Grandma would take his hand and he would be fine.
Me and the boys climbed this big rick and tried to get it to tip off of the little rock it was on--NO Success in doing that!
The famous tradition of feeding the ducks--John chucked a large piece of bread and hit one of the ducks. Luckily it got the bread and swam off quickly so as not to have one of the other ducks take it from him.
Sand Hollow--was attempted, but it was too windy. So we took this picture so the boys would know that they HAVE been there.
The Following are taken in a place called the "Little Narrows." It was sooo Fun. We just climbed on the rocks and hiked around. Everyone was able to hike even though Kelton, me and Trey were in flip flops--oops
The "Little Narrows"

On Top of the world
Aren't those the best looking boys you have ever seen?
We hope to make it down to St. George to see grandma and grandpa again soon. Thanks for a place to stay, great food, and fun times.

Shooting

Lately we have been going out Saturday morning to go shooting. We love doing it and the boys are starting to appreciate guns and the awesome power they have. I'm getting better at shooting the hand gun and Trey is good at letting us all shoot. Today was really fun, we went out to a new place, I'm not sure were. When we got there the wind was blowing and I didn't want to get out of the car. About 5 minutes after being there the wind died down we shot and started getting into the car and the wind picked up bringing with it many inched of snow, I just love shooting with my boys.

Kelton and John getting ready to shoot
Trey getting the guns ready
The .22 that the boys & I like shooting
Trey shooting
Keith running around while we shoot
Me shooting
Kelton with his bow and arrow. He shot his arrow up on this hill and they had to go get it, on their way to retrieve the arrow they found a dead coyote, which the boys LOVED.
I don't have any pics of John shooting because he shot all his of his shells before I could get Keith bundled and out of the car.

Keith Birthday Pictures

We had Keith party up in my mom's gym. Really, I need to do better at hosting parties, but Keith like it. If you want to check out some sweet birthday party ideas go to http://www.karaspartyideas.blogspot.com/ Hopefully, I will host a party worthy of the party idea blog, but until then I'm doing ok with good food and great friends. Enjoy the pics
We had to light the candles 4 times because the other kids kept blowing them out:)

Kelton's First Time Skiing

Friday morning my sister, Jo, called and said she was taking her kids skiing and wondered if I could babysit while she went with my mom and they would take Kelton. I know how much I love skiing and couldn't let an opportunity like this pass, even if I wasn't going to be there. Well, I ended up going because my mom broke her toe a few days ago and couldn't stand to have it in the ski boot. So I got to go with Kelton, Drew, Hunter, Tess, and Jo. We has so much fun and Kelton picked up skiing pretty good. He likes to go fast, but doesn't like to crash. We spent all day at the tow rope and as luck would have it one of the Sundance workers let us go up the hill for 1 run. Hunter was the down the hill before I got Kelton's skis back on from his first crash. Tess was cleaned up by the ski patrol, Drew kept control and stayed pretty close to Jo. It took Kelton and I about 15 minutes to get down the hill and Jo had already turned in the rented skis and was headed to the car. We had a blast and plan to go again, but hope to keep getting better.

Our Days

Things have been going on here. I have found that I love getting up earlier than the boys so I can work out, shower, be dressed and ready when they wake up. We have all been begging for the outdoors and the boys have come up with some fun things to do. I am waiting for the camera before I post much more but some of the things we have been doing are going to the pool, having a bubble gum sale, and seeing who can throw things the furthest off the deck. Probable not to great of things but it keeps them moving and excited. Little side note: I have spring fever and am getting excited about cleaning out clothes, cupboards, and closets. I just hope it stays till I get to it other words it may not happen. Heres to hoping.
