Alpine Days Rodeo & Camp Pics

I just got back from Girl's Camp with the young women in our ward. Can I tell you I LOVE girls camp. I didn't take any photos but really hade a great time. We stayed at the Heber Valley Camp Ground, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We got to stay in cabins, have flushable toilets, and warm showers. It was great camping. It never stops amazing me how wonderful the youth are.
Well, the Alpine Days Rodeo has come and gone. I think this is the first year I have been to it when my dad wan't helping with it. But that made it so he could help all the grandkids ride the sheep. I asked Kelton and John if they wanted to ride a sheep this year. Kelton was sure he wanted o do it and actually seemed really excited. John told me "NO! It is too Scary." So off to the rodeo we went with 1 rider and 2 chicken chasers. Kelton rode and fell off right where the dirt had been packed. It looked like ti hurt, but he was tough and only cried a bit until grandpa bought him a snow cone. (Thanks Grandpa!) We did have a lot of support from His cousins and Family. The Broadbents, Lawrences, Hegerhorsts, Nelsens, Chatfields, and Porters where all there to cheer Kelton on and chase a few animals. Thanks everyone for comming.
