Memorial Day

For Memorial Weekend we headed up to Park Valley with my family. We were also going to celebrate John and Will's birthday. Everyone left on Friday at their own time. We planned to leave about 3 since Trey couldn't get off any earlier. Any who, on our way up we get a call to meet Jo at the U of U emergency room.
When we get their we find that Jared had done something to his back and wouldn't be able to came with us. So I jumped in Jo's car and took her kids to Park Valley and Trey drove our car full of our kidos. We stopped for dinner and the poor waiter just couldn't figure out how Trey and I had 8 kids under the age of 10! (a 10y.o., an 8y.o., two 6y.o., two 4y.o., & two 2y.o.) We did however get John and Will some birthday pie! When we got to our camp site everyone had the fire going and helped set up tents and get sleeping arrangements.
The next morning we celebrated John's Birthday.

The Birthday boys in their NEW cowboy chaps, holsters, and Guns (thanks grandma & Grandpa)
Then we headed further into the canyon to celebrate Will's Bday.

Everyone got a chance to shoot guns and just hang out. Talk about a boys dream birthday.
REAL CAMPING, REAL GUNS, REAL 4-WHEELERS , AND REAL FUN!
We then headed home that night. The rest of the weekend was spent doing yard work and visiting loved ones. (Enjoy the rest of the pics)
Getting warm waiting for breakfast (SPEC) to finish

So that's more of the story. Camping can be a whirlwind but when you add all the other stuff...that's a workout!! I didn't know there was a Kelton, Utah. Did you know that before naming him?

PS: I love having you as neighbors:)
