Here We Come 2009

Happy New Year everyone. We had a a party here, can you say "Party Animals!" Well, in a sense you could say we are. We had my sister and her 3 kids, my other sister and her husband and my mom & dad over for new years. I made deep fried candybars (good, but next time I need to really get out the deep fryer). Trey made his famous rice crispies. Libbey brought chips and salsa. Mom, Dad, & Lacie brought drinks (sparkling apple juice for adults and little apple shaped jars of apple juice for the kids). We played Monopoly. Fun,but next time I want to win:) We counted down with KK in Philidephia. So we counted down to 10:00PM here. Then everyone went home. Party Animals!!
Well, in our church I am working with the young women. So I got to watch A Brand New Begining production the the LDS church put out. It was really good. The youth that I work with are calling it "High School Musica--Church Edition." If you want to check it out go to www.ABrandNewYear.lds.org.
They did a great job. They had songs and danced. I loved the story by Pres. Monson. What and amazing man.

Christmas

I love a white Christmas. This year was great. We were in about 3 feet of snow and a blizzard. What more can you expect from Utah. Well, I woke up around 6:30AM because I was soo excited. John was awak and Keith was awake even before me. Poor Kelton was the last one awake (besides Trey- he layed in bed and wouldn't let anyone go into the living room until Kelton woke up). Well, I was in my room with Keith when I heard someone/ thing in the kitchen. I knew exactly who it was. It was John. He always wakes up very quietly and goes into the kitchen and eats anything within reach in the pantry. Well, on Christmas morning ge was side tracked and didn't make it to the pantry. Insteaad he was playing with the tool set that Santa had left. When I came out he said, "Mom, Santa came and he even gave me tools." All I could do was agree. Soon after that Kelton woke and things got unwrapped quickly. Kelton got his xbox games and John got his tools. Keith was happy with his wrapping paper, Treygot a red rider bb gun, and I got snow clothes (coat, boots, & pants). It was a great morning.
We got into the car to head to grandma & grandpa Charfield's, but couldn't get out of the drive way. So, grandpa came and got us so we wouldn't miss out on the festivities. It was wonderful. Thanks mom & dad.
My grandma gave us a biography of my grandfather. I read it in one night and can't believe wat a great man he was. I hope I've got part of his faith and kindness. All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas.

Wedding Party!

So it's done. All the Chatfield girls are married. Libbey got married on Sat. and it was a Party. Kelton and John were talking about for weeks. They talked about how they get to wear tuxes and be a "BIG" part of Libbey's "BIG" wedding party. It truly was an amazing, but busy, day. Congratulations! Here are a few pictures of the reception.

Hunter (Cousin) and Kelton taking presents at the door
John-A little exahsted after the Big party. We had to wake him up when we got there and even the chocolate fountain couldn't keep him from crashing as soon as we got him back in the car:)
He was really pleasent through the whole thing though. It was a long day at the "BIG" wedding party for this little guy, but he stuck in there.

Me & Keith
I held him all night because he stuffs everything in his mouth
Kelton, Drew, (Cousin) & Hunter (Cousin)
"Welcome to Libbey's Wedding, may I take your present?"
This is what they said to the gests as they arrived at the door of the reception hall. They were great! and Handsome too.
My favorite shot of the whole night!
My oldest Kelton just before the "BIG" wedding party began.
What a stud. He is soo handsome and perfect. I just love him to death.

Crazy Days

Wow! Things are really happening here, except that I just really hear about them. My youngest sister, and the only one not married, is getting married on Nov 29th. We are so excited for her. I have been helping my mom with the invitations and is it a process. Then my sisters and I have been planning a little sisters afternoon out (so most of the kids are in school). Just to get our hair done and chat. Then we have also been planning a wedding shower, mostly my mom( hello doesn't she know she's the mother of the bride and is not supose to do these things) for some family and long time friends in town. (To my moms defense, she's really good at planning parties and loves to do it so).
Besides wedding stuff, John is getting potty trained. Things are NOT going well right know, but ask me in 5 days and I will have conquerd or given up to try again in a month or so. Keith is in his crawling craze. He crawls around the house looking for things that the boys have left on the ground and tries to eat them (he likes papers the most). Kelton is my babysitter. He gets to watch Keith while I'm in the shower and getting ready or jst cleaning up (with some rules: No holding or carrying, No feeding, No poking, ect, you get the picture) In exchange he gets to play bateman lego land; which he can play better than me! He really is very helpful. I think Trey is ready for me to sit still. He has the kids while I go to gym on mon & wed, YW on Tues with 2 hour of gym before that, and boys gymnastics on thurs. The week gets away from us. Friday we spend the whole afternoon just sitting on the couch (not really, but boy does that sound fun at times).
Things are crazy thats for sure. But I can honoestly say, I LOVE IT! (Sorry no pictures--maybe after the wedding:)
